Job Title: Driver

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for supporting Company Operations by providing Safe and timely Driving services to transport company staff and /or goods/ consignments to ensure they are always at the right place at the right time with utmost care and maximum efficiency and safety.
- cEnsure sound condition /running of the vehicle assigned and report or arrange for minor repairs where applicable.
- Provide transportation with customer care to Management and company staff as assigned.
- Facilitate airport pick-ups for visitors and transportation during official visits.
- Schedule periodic vehicle examination, inspection and vehicle servicing including applying for renewal for driving license/permit.
- Monitor report and or determine when and what kind of maintenance the vehicle needs, truck general maintenance schedule especially car tyre condition.
- Check oil, valid insurance log book and tyres properly and keep the vehicle in clean condition by washing both inside and outside.
- Distribute packages /Correspondences as needed, both incoming and outgoing.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of O’ level Certificate.
- Diploma in mechanical engineering is added advantage
- Valid driving License
- Excellent physical condition and coordination
- 2+ years’ proven experience in a similar role in busy environment.
Key requirements:
- A Defensive driving certification is a must.
- A valid driver’s licence with the correct class.
- Excellent Communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
- Confidentiality and professionalism must be maintained.
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
- Ability to work independently and to carryout assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines and standard accepted practices.
- Strong knowledge of the transportation industry including regulations and safety standards is essential and all duties shall be carried out in the working condition normally inherent in the particular job and perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
