About Organisation:
The Lotteries and Gaming Regulatory Board (LGRB) is a body corporate established under the Lotteries and Gaming Act No. 7 of 2016 which came into effect on 8th April 2016. The Act is supported by a set of 5 Regulations which came into effect on 28th May 2016. The law mandates the Board to regulate the operations of lotteries, casinos and betting houses (Industry).
Job Summary: To drive and maintain assigned vehicle in accordance with prevailing Board policies, regulations and guidelines.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Carry out daily vehicle maintenance checks and generate reports in line with the administrative guidelines;
- Drive the vehicle for official duty and assignments.
- Maintain and update record of vehicle movement logbook, insurance and license service card;
- Report technical/Mechanical faults to the supervising officer/Transport officer;
- Ensure cleanliness and safety of the assigned vehicle.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- A Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education or its equivalent
- Valid driving permit with at least classes B, CM and DL
- Work Experience
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Driver in a reputable organization with a clean driving record.
- ( c ) Added advantage
- Certificate in Defensive driving
- Training in Road safety
