The University of Kisubi (UniK) is a private, Catholic-founded chartered university in Uganda. Established in 2004 by the Brothers of Christian Instruction, it initially operated as a constituent college of Uganda Martyrs University before gaining independent status in 2015.
Job Summary: Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Communications, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing the University’s digital marketing strategy, managing its social media platforms, producing compelling online content that reflects the institution’s academic excellence and Catholic values and, in collaboration with the Webmaster, ensuring the University’s website content is accurate, current, brand- consistent and optimised for search engines This is an exciting opportunity for a creative digital professional passionate about storytelling and community engagement in a mission-driven, faith-based environment
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- A Bachelor s degree in Marketing Digital Marketing Mass Communication or a related field from an institution recognised by the NCHE, a postgraduate qualification or professional digital marketing certification is an added advantage.
- A minimum of two (2) years of demonstrable experience in digital marketing and social media management, preferably within a higher education institution or reputable organisation
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including Google Analytics, social media advertising, and content management systems
- Strong graphic design and multimedia skills, alongside excellent written and verbal communication skills

- A demonstrable commitment to the Catholic values and mission of the University, with sensitivity in faith- based communication
- A creative. innovative, and results-oriented professional with strong organisational skills, the ability to manage multiple projects, and the discipline to meet deadlines under minimal supervision
- An impeccable track record of moral integrity professional ethics, and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders
