Job Title: Deputy Principal

About Organisation:
TUMU Medical Training Institute is a privately owned, modern health facility, located in the newly created district of Buhweju, in western Uganda. It is a community Health care focused institution, with a training wing for Nurses, midwives and Lab technicians. The Medical center, has acquired modern amenities like Ultra sound, Scans, X-RAY machines, theatre and other modern equipments. It has cordial working relationships with other hospitals in the region, but most importantly it has relationships with major hospitals in China and India in sharing research and staff development.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the Principal in administration and management
- Oversee academic programs and ensure quality training standards
- Supervise staff and support professional development
- Coordinate planning, reporting and regulatory compliance
- Act in the Principal’s absence
- Lead Tutors/Trainers and teach assigned subnets
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing or Midwifery
- Postgraduate Diploma in Health Education
- At least 3 years’ teaching experience (preferred)
- Proven leadership and administrative experience
- Strong organizational leadership. and communication skills
