About Organisation:
Tenna & Pharma Laboratories is a prominent private pathology laboratory and medical center located in Bukoto, Kampala. Established in 2021 during the COVID-19 pandemic to address regional gaps in PCR testing, it has since grown into a comprehensive diagnostic and medical consulting facility.
Job Summary: Tenna & Pharma Laboratories is hiring a Cashier with the following roles and responsibilities;
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive payments (cash, mobile money, Visa, etc.) and issue receipts.
- Provide efficient and accurate checkout services.
- Operate POS systems and reconcile daily transactions.
- Maintain financial records and submit reports.
- Deliver professional customer service and manage inquiries.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient records.
- Support accountant with financial and administrative duties.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Diploma in Business Administration, Accounting, or equivalent.
- 2–3 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in the medical industry.
- Proficiency in MS Office and QuickBooks.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Honest, trustworthy, and detail-oriented.
