Job Summary: Exquisite Solution Limited is seeking an experienced Boiler Engineer for a client in the oil and gas sector. The role is responsible for designing and selecting boiler systems in line with approved specifications, as well as optimizing operational and design parameters based on actual field conditions and operational requirements.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design and develop field boiler systems for oilfield operations.
- Set and adjust boiler operating parameters based on production requirements and operational conditions.
- Conduct risk assessment briefings and emergency response training for personnel before work commencement.
- Provide technical guidance and operational supervision during boiler installation, commissioning, operation, and maintenance.
- Coordinate with equipment, maintenance, and technical teams to ensure efficient boiler operations.
- Oversee daily boiler operations to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Identify, assess, and resolve operational and safety issues during boiler activities.
- Analyze field construction and operational challenges and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct post-operation reviews to improve boiler workflows, efficiency, and safety procedures.
- Prepare and submit completion reports for boiler installation, maintenance, retrofitting, and commissioning activities.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering, electronics, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Strong coordination, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficient in industrial boiler design, operation, and thermal calculations.
- Skilled in boiler design and engineering software.
- Experience developing boiler operating and maintenance procedures.
- Knowledge of oilfield boilers and auxiliary systems, including burners, heat exchangers, and water treatment equipment.
