Job Summary: We are seeking dedicated and dynamic Secondary School Teachers committed to delivering high-quality education and fostering the holistic development of learners.
Subject Areas of Teaching.
English Language and Literature, History, Christian Education Biology and Chemistry Physics and Mathematics
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and conduct lessons according to the Watoto schools’ standards.
- Administer assessments and structured assignments to support learning.
- Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
- Monitor and evaluate learner progress to build a positive learning culture.
- Offer mentorship and facilitate leadership sessions for small groups.
- Implement and evaluate the learning experience through real-life project experiences.
- Observe learner growth and provide immediate academic support.
- Advise learners academically and socially to support career decisions.
- Maintain proper stewardship of all assigned school equipment.
- Promote learners’ well-being, safety, and holistic development.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant for the role should hold at least a Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field from a recognised university.
- At least two (2) years’ teaching experience in a secondary school setting.
- Demonstrated ability to provide holistic education to learners and to promote evidence- based learning.
- Ability to contribute to the learners’ character, talent, and skills development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A high degree of flexibility and initiative.
- Commitment to work within a team environment and ability to work under minimal supervision.
