Job Summary: The purpose of this consultancy is to provide day-to-day supply chain support to government for the surge nutrition humanitarian response.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- National nutrition supplies chain linked to subnational supply chain in Karamoja and refugees
- Nutrition supply chain performance review
- Lifesaving nutrition supply chain management
- Timely distributions of nutrition supplies
- Knowledge management

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
Minimum requirements:
- Education: Advanced degree (Master`s) in one of the following areas: Nutrition, Supply Chain Management/logistics, Public Health, Nutrition, Business Administration or related discipline
- A minimum of Five (5) years of progressively professional work experience in nutrition planning, implementation, monitoring and/or evaluation.
- Experience in nutrition supply chain strengthening
- Experience working with Government entities for nutrition, public health, and other child survival and development areas.
- Knowledge of NMS’ mandate in the drug procurement, supply and delivery system
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Computer proficiency, including use of relevant software and other applications e.g. word processing, spreadsheets, internal databases, internet navigation etc.
- Ability to work in the field and under pressure to meet deadlines.
Language Requirements: Proficiency in English
Desirables:
- Logistics management system for health or nutrition commodities at the national or sub-national level will be considered an asset.
- Experience in nutrition emergency response will be a great advantage
