Job Summary: Microhaem Scientifics and Medical Supplies Limited is hiring a Driver to drive and carry out operational and preventive maintenance of MHS vehicles.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Driving the MHS vehicle safely and chauffeuring MHS staff and official visitors to official destinations.
- Regularly cleaning the inside and outside of the vehicle.
- Transporting goods to and from the MHS warehouse and making deliveries of the same to clients’ premises/warehouses.
- Carrying out routine maintenance, minor repairs, and care of the vehicle.
- Running official errands and assisting with other office activities.
- Keeping accurate and up-to-date records using the vehicle and fuel log sheets.
- Monitoring and reporting the need for servicing of the vehicle and renewal of the insurance policy.
- Compiling the vehicle logbook correctly.
- Performing any other duties that may be assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) with at least four passes, one of which must be in the English Language at Ordinary Level (UCE).
- Possession of a valid driving license (classes BE, CM, CH, DL, DM, DH)
- A certificate in motor vehicle repair is an added advantage
- Certificate in Defensive Driving is an added advantage.
- At least seven (7) years’ experience as a driver in a reputable private company or a manufacturing environment.

- Must be physically fit.
