Capital Evolutions is a continental MICE brand and certified Professional Conference Organiser, headquartered in Kampala and positioning Uganda as East Africa’s premier meetings destination.

Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Business Administrator to support both office operations and business growth initiatives. This role combines administrative responsibilities with partnerships development, client engagement, and business acquisition within the hospitality and events space.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Administrative Duties

  • Manage day-to-day office operations and coordination
  • Handle documentation, reports, and client records
  • Support digital administration including email, CRM, and scheduling
  • Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and company profiles

Partnerships & Business Development

  • Identify and onboard hotels, lodges, and conference venues
  • Build and maintain relationships with hospitality partners
  • Expand the company’s portfolio of venues and service providers
  • Conduct field visits and meetings with potential partners

Procurement & Client Engagement

  • Engage with procurement units in government agencies, corporates, and associations
  • Source and follow up on business opportunities in MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences,

Events)

  • Support bid preparation and submissions where necessary
  • Maintain strong client relationships and ensure repeat business

Mobility & Field Work

  • Travel to meet partners, clients, and attend meetings when required
  • Represent the company in a professional and strategic manner

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:




  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field
  • Minimum 1 year of work experience in administration, sales, or business development
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Good organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Comfortable with digital tools (email, documents, basic systems)
  • Knowledge or interest in hospitality, events, or corporate services is an added advantage
  • Proactive and self-driven
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills
  • Professional and presentable
  • Results-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work both in office and in the field
