Job Title:   Business Manager, Associate Level 1

Our company’s work spans over 15 years of experience in several African markets having previously traded as Computer Frontiers International LTD (CFI). Our core business is IT & Telecom.

 

Job Summary:   We are seeking a highly motivated Business Manager, Associate Level 1 to lead bidding processes, oversee contract execution, and drive business development initiatives in our Telecommunications department. The ideal candidate will manage end-to-end bids, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and contribute to the growth of the company through strategic business opportunities.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full bid process, coordinating internal teams including sales, marketing, product, finance, legal, and project delivery.
  • Develop clear win strategies and ensure compelling bid proposals.
  • Address complex technical, strategic, and business challenges.
  • Prepare and review commercial aspects of bids and manage bid budgets.
  • Ensure timely submission of compliant and commercially sound proposals.
  • Plan and coordinate client presentations and post-bid reviews.
  • Support business development by pursuing new leads and opportunities.
  • Participate in assessments, surveys, and feasibility studies.
  • Develop and review designs, solutions, and specifications for client projects.
  • Monitor project progress, ensuring compliance with design, quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
  • Prepare reports, technical documentation, and project proposals.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, operations, and project teams to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and pursue relevant certifications.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, health, safety, and environmental standards.

 

Performance Metrics (KPIs):

  • Quality and accuracy of project solutions and documentation.
  • Timely completion of project deliverables.
  • Client satisfaction and successful project handovers.
  • Leadership in business development and active participation in sales initiatives.

 

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in business development, project management, or bid management.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and complex projects.
  • Familiarity with technology solutions, construction, or related industries is a plus.
  • Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.

 

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time role: 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday at company premises or client sites.
  • Occasional weekend and public holiday work may be required.
  • Office-based with site visits as necessary.

Job Summary:   We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to join our Telecommunications department. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills with the ability to read, interpret, and analyze complex purchase orders, contracts, and project documentation. This role requires close collaboration with the Project Manager to ensure efficient project execution, operational excellence, and alignment with client requirements. The successful candidate will play a key role in translating business needs into actionable plans while ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timely delivery of project objectives.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and interpret complex purchase orders, contracts, and client requirements to ensure clarity and accuracy.
  • Identify gaps, risks, and inconsistencies in project documentation and propose appropriate solutions.
  • Support the Project Manager in planning, coordination, and execution of projects to ensure operational excellence.
  • Translate client and stakeholder requirements into clear functional and technical specifications.
  • Assist in budgeting, cost analysis, and financial tracking of projects.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with timelines, scope, and quality standards.
  • Prepare detailed reports, documentation, and performance summaries for management and clients.
  • Coordinate with internal teams including sales, finance, procurement, operations, and technical departments.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory standards, and health & safety requirements.
  • Participate in project reviews, stakeholder meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and project management methodologies.

  • Accuracy and completeness in interpreting purchase orders and project documentation.
  • Timely support in project execution and delivery.
  • Effective risk identification and mitigation.
  • Quality of reporting and documentation.

  • Proven experience in Business Analysis, Project Management support, or a related role.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret complex purchase orders, contracts, and technical documents.
  • Solid understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with telecommunications, technology solutions, or construction industries is an added advantage.
  • Commitment to professional growth and continuous learning.
