Job Summary: We’re looking for a skilled Media Analyst to join our dynamic team in Kampala, Uganda.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: As a Media Analyst, you will be responsible for:
- Converting text and audio recordings between languages.
- Ensuring translations maintain the original meaning and tone.
- Proofreading content for grammar, spelling, and accuracy.
- Cross-referencing dictionaries and translation tools for quality assurance.
- Editing content while preserving original formatting.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
If you meet the following, we’d love to hear from you:
- Minimum of a Diploma from a recognised Institution.
- A bias in journalism or mass communication will be a significant advantage.
- Good grammar and recommendable sentence structure are essential.
- Proven work experience as a translator, interpreter, or in a similar role.
- Good computer literacy skills.
- Mandatory knowledge of English, Luganda, and Lusoga.
- Knowledge of any other dialect will be an added advantage.
