Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- To develop and execute a winning value chain strategy for SME Business.
- To engage with and acquire key suppliers, Distributors and employees of corporate anchor clients through execution of partnerships and value chain support to personal banking.
- To champion partnerships for all NTB and existing businesses for ecosystem mining and support to SME Relationship managers in branches.
- To coordinate all value chain activities under SME and ensure proper reporting weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual or as and when required by your immediate supervisors.
- To train, sensitize and educate various stakeholders within the bank about value chain banking with the goal of creating an understanding of the customer value proposition.
- To assess and propose adjustments to the risk appetite parameters of the bank with regards to value chain banking and thus allow for better risk mitigation with the issuing of credit.
- To lead, direct and mentor various relationship managers working with value chain clients throughout SME business to ensure excellent customer experience.
- Co-own and deliver monthly and annual sales targets with Relationship Managers to meet top- line revenue growth.
- Develop and implement a value chain banking CVP for each sector considering unique aspects of each sector.
- Execute sales of SME assets, Liabilities, and other product types as per targets allocated by the SME Manager.
- To deal with customer queries, requests, instructions, suggestions/service feedback and dissemination of information on bank products to both existing and potential customers.
- Handle Establishment of new and Variation of existing account relationships.
- Deal primarily with SME accounts.
- Offer support to allocated branches in terms of lead generation and management of asset and liability portfolios for high-net-worth clientele.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- A university degree in relevant business discipline, any professional Qualification in General Banking is an added advantage.
- At least 4 years’ experience in sales and services and their relevance to SME customers.
- Ability to identify, analyse and structure SME lending requirements.
- Thorough knowledge of banking products and services.
- Demonstrate knowledge of Digital Financial services and their relevance to SME customers.
- Strong communications, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with ability to win business.
- Passion for Performance.
- Open to New Ideas in a rapidly changing Business Environment and innovative.
