Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production/Process Manager to oversee operations at our grain-based distillery plant. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of alcohol production processes including ENA, RS, DDGS, fermentation, milling, liquefaction, and wash management. This role is critical to ensuring efficient, safe, and high-quality production while maintaining compliance with industry standards and environmental regulations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Production Oversight:
  • Manage and optimize daily operations of ENA and RS production.
  • Supervise fermentation, milling, liquefaction, and distillation processes.
  • Monitor wash preparation and handling to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Process Management:
  • Implement and improve process control systems to enhance efficiency and yield.
  • Troubleshoot process issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure proper utilization of raw materials and energy resources.
  • Quality & Compliance:
  • Maintain strict adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with quality control teams for sampling and analysis.
  • Ensure environmental and safety compliance across all production activities.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Lead and train production staff to maintain high performance and safety standards.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
  • Reporting & Documentation:
  • Prepare and maintain production reports, logs, and documentation.
  • Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:




  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or related field.
  • Minimum 5–10 years of experience in a grain-based distillery or similar industry.
  • Strong knowledge of ENA, RS, DDGS production processes.
  • Hands-on experience with fermentation, milling, liquefaction, and distillation.
  • Familiarity with plant automation and process control systems.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of sustainability practices in distillery.
