Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Marketing for new loan clients and promotion of the company’s products.
- Thorough screening, appraisal and assessment of the clients creditworthiness for new loan clients.
- Providing the necessary loan application process information to interested clients.
- Collecting/compilation of the necessary financial documentation for attachment to the loan application and forward to the loans committee.
- Monitoring loan progress of the loan application process and relaying any hindrances to clients and be sure they are addressed for a successful loan disbursement.
- Ensuring the loan application is disbursed by the disbursement authority after approval.
- Ensuring that loan applications are in line with the company’s financial policies.
- Confirmation/witnessing the signing of the necessary contractual documents after.
- Ensuring the client receives a loan schedule to guide in payments.
- Maintaining records of loan applications.
- Managing loan renewals by organizing follow-up meetings with clients.
- Maintaining a healthy portfolio.
- Reporting.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must posses minimum of a Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience working with microfinance institutions or SACCOs will be an added advantage
- Strong communication skills and proven customer service experience.
- Strong ethical behaviour and the ability to work with minimum supervision.
