About Organisation:
Uganda Girl Guides Association (UGGA) is a member of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS), Uganda Girl Guides Association (UGGA) was inaugurated as a full member of the WAGGGS at the world conference that was held in the United States of America in July 1984.
Job Summary: In this role you will oversee tasks delegated to you by the Project Coordinator, coordinate with all necessary vendors and service providers in Kumi / Pallisa / Kabale / Rukiga, and ensure that the project is moving forward on time and on budget. You will need to be highly organized, adaptable, and able to prioritize tasks while working independently.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for supervising project activities and teams in the districts; Kumi / Pallisa / Kabale / Rukiga and ensuring that all issues related to the project are clarified and completed
- Liaise with all project stakeholders in the district of Kumi / Pallisa / Kabale / Rukiga and keep them engaged
- Collect reports and detailed budgets from field teams.
- Coordinate and oversee vendor performance to ensure timelines and quality.
- Maintain automated databases to report and comply.
- Develop reports and correspondence independently.
- Coordinate with project teams on tasks as per objectives
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- A Hons. Bachelor degree in either Education, Management Studies, Business Administration (Management option), Social Sciences, Development Studies, or related qualifications obtained from a recognized Institution.
- Postgraduate qualification in Management or Project Management is an added advantage.
- Must have had over 2 years working experience from a reputable organization is desired
- Project management skills will be an added advantage
- Fluency in English and Local Language
