Job Title: Manager – Accounts

Dream Africa has various branches in Kampala, Wakiso, Mukono and Jinja.
Job Summary: To oversee the school’s financial operations, ensure accurate accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting, and maintain compliance with statutory regulations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations (accounts payable/receivable, payroll, general ledger).
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Develop and monitor budgets in coordination with the Head of School.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and handle audits.
- Supervise the accounts team and implement financial controls.
- Advise the management on financial planning and cost-saving opportunities.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA/CA preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in accounting/finance management.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards
