Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) to join their team and drive HR excellence within the organization.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Partner with senior management to develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company’s business objectives.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, and development programs to ensure the organization attracts, retains, and develops top talent.
- Implement and manage performance appraisal systems to drive a high-performance culture.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations, and update HR policies and procedures accordingly.
- Develop and manage competitive compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain employees.
- Track and analyze HR metrics to inform strategic decision-making and provide regular reports to senior management.
- Lead HR-related change initiatives and support organizational development projects.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar HR role, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices and labor laws in Uganda.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven ability to influence and partner with senior leadership.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and foster a supportive team culture.
