Job Summary: Jubilee Life Insurance Uganda is seeking a Head of Actuary to lead actuarial modelling, IFRS17 reporting, product development, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic actuarial leadership across financial projections, solvency, product pricing, risk modelling, and regulatory reporting while leading and developing the actuarial team.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science or a related field
- Actuarial professional qualification
- 6-8 years’ experience in a similar actuarial role
- Strong leadership, analytical, financial & communication skills
- Solid knowledge of life insurance, IFRS 17 & regulatory frameworks
