Job Title: Construction Superintendent – Night Shift

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Planning and Coordination:
- Organize and control nighttime activities for all disciplines.
- Ensure the continuity of work fronts defined by SINOPEC during the day and ensure the site is prepared for the following shifts.
- Verify the availability of SINOPEC resources before the start of the shift.
- Supervision and Control:
- Supervise SINOPEC and subcontractor teams during the night shift.
- Ensure strict adherence to HSE procedures and quality standards.
- Monitor work execution in accordance with plans and specifications.
- HSE Responsibilities:
- Act as the Safety & Environment Manager for the night shift.
- Verify that HSE Toolbox Talks are completed before work begins.
- Monitor hazardous areas, ensure work permits are in place, and manage emergency situations.
- Ensure compliance with environmental requirements.
- Interaction and Communication:
- Maintain open communication with the Day Shift Superintendent to ensure business continuity.
- Report incidents, near misses, and progress to the CSR Manager and the Industrial Area Superintendent.
- Prepare a detailed Night Shift Report.
- Pre-commissioning and Readiness:
- Verify system readiness for testing and pre-commissioning, if applicable.
- Ensure the completion of punch lists identified during the shift.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Engineering degree or equivalent in related discipline with experience in precommissioning within Oil & Gas
- Minimum 15 years’ experience in oil and gas projects, with extensive multi-discipline precommissioning and Oil Gas construction experience
- Good knowledge of the Company’s General Specifications and/or previous experience with other major Contractors in oil and gas construction projects.
- The ideal candidate shall be fully conversant with the applicable Oil and Gas Industry International Codes, Standards as well as best Industry Practices.
- A good awareness of other disciplines. Significant responsibility in multi-discipline teams or projects.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
