Furaha Finserve Uganda Limited is a financial technology business which acts as a software-based intermediary platform. The company does not provide loans or credit directly, and does not operate a payment system, act as a payment service provider or issue a payment instrument.
Job Summary: The Business Analyst serves as a strategic partner to the CFO.
The role spans both external-facing (partner finance management) and internal-facing (performance analytics, management accounting, FPSA) responsibilities.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Apply financial modeling and business intelligence to quantify how pricing and product strategies impact profitability, supported by scenario and sensitivity analysis.
- Develop enhanced analytical dashboards that deliver actionable insights, not just data.
- Support CFO in budgeting, forecasting, and FP&A to enable strategic expansion and growth.
- Provide regular performance analysis on unit economics, valuation, and financial results.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance / accounting / economics / Statistics or related field.
- At least 7+ years’ experience
- Advanced Excel expertise (mandatory) + working knowledge of MySQL and Python.
- Demonstrable experience in: partner reconciliations and commercial finance FP&A, budgeting, financial modelling high-growth fintech / lending / payments or similar technology-driven environments
