Job Title: Area Leader – Water Treatment Unit – 3 Positions

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Planning and Coordination:
- Develop and update short-term plans and look-ahead plans for WTU works in line with the overall project schedule.
- Coordinate daily and weekly work fronts with site supervisors, disciplinary leads, and subcontractors to optimize resource allocation and the sequencing of activities.
- Work Monitoring:
- Track and monitor the daily progress of WTU activities (installation of filtration systems, pumps, tanks, piping, and instrumentation).
- Monitor the status of critical equipment, long-lead items, and materials required for the WTU.
- Ensure the tracking of engineering deliverables, shop drawings, and technical submissions.
- Technical Support and Interfaces:
- Assist site teams in resolving technical queries and clarifying construction details.
- Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and commissioning teams to ensure a smooth workflow and timely handovers.
- Pre-commissioning and Readiness:
- Monitor pre-commissioning activities, punch list completion, and preparation for WTU commissioning.
- Verify the conformity of auxiliary systems (chemical treatment, quality control, drainage, instrumentation) before handover.
- Communication and Reporting:
- Serve as a communication bridge between SINOPEC and the project team.
- Translate and clarify technical requirements, documentation, and meeting outcomes to ensure mutual understanding.
- Prepare concise daily reports on progress, issues, and required actions.
- Maintain accurate records of meetings, decisions, and follow-up actions
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Engineering degree or equivalent in related discipline with experience in pre-commissioning within Oil & Gas Experience
- Minimum 15 years’ experience in oil and gas projects, with extensive multi-discipline pre-commissioning and Oil Gas construction experience
- ·Good knowledge of TOTAL E&P General Specifications and/or previous experience with other major Contractors in oil and gas construction projects.
- ·The ideal candidate shall be fully conversant with the applicable Oil and Gas Industry International Codes, Standards as well as best Industry Practices.
- ·A good awareness of other disciplines. Significant responsibility in multi-discipline teams or projects.
- ·Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- ·Fluent in English.
- ·Valid medical certificate per company standards.
