Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Mobile money transactions- Posting mobile money MoMo
- (MTN/ Airtel) transactions and customer income.
- EFRIS Compliance -Issuing and recording receipts/ invoices in line with URA rules.
- Supplier and expense recording- capturing supplier bills, park fees, fleet costs, and other expenses.
- Financial reporting -preparing financial statements and weekly payment vouchers.
- Account reconciliation -Reconciling accounts payable, mobile money balances, and supplier statements.
- Fleet expenses-Tracking vehicle costs, fuel, and mileage reports: working with drivers to ensure accurate reconciliations.
- Supporting overall finance operations
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 3 years accounting experience in a busy environment (tourism or hospitality is an added advantage)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Business Central or similar accounting software
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (BCOM) and/or CPA Level 2 (U)
- Good analytical, reporting, and numerical skills
- High level of accuracy and experience in payment collection and record keeping
