WIH Cement Uganda Limited is the Ugandan subsidiary of Yaobai International Holding Limited, a Hong Kong-listed global clinker and cement manufacturing company with operations across several continents including Africa, with an annual turnover in excess of USD 1.2 billion from over 30 million tons of cement production capacity in and outside of China. WIH Cement Uganda Limited is completing a 6000- ton-per-day clinker and cement plant in Moroto as well as a 3 million ton per annum cement plant in Jinja to start operations in early 2026.The Company is setting up its various operational teams, including Finance and therefore invites suitably qualified Uganda to apply for the open and available positions.
Job Summary: The successful candidate(s) will be part of a Finance team primarily responsible for record keeping, external financial reporting, tax, and management accounting/reporting all on a timely and accurate basis.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Degree in Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance or any related fields is a MUST for all positions.
- Holder of a professional accounting course such as CPA, ACCA, CIMA for Senior Accountants. The Junior Accountants would ideally be newly qualified but if not, MUST be studying towards their professional qualifications.
Experience
- Relevant work experience in accounting and finance/financial control in the manufacturing industry is required (Minimum 8 years for Senior Accountants and 5 years for Junior Accountants).
- Solid experience and general understanding of financial ERP systems, particularly Netsuite / Oracle is a must.
