Xclusive Uganda is a group of Horticulture companies consists of 3 companies: Xclusive Young Plants, Xclusive Kalanchoe and Xclusive Chrysanthemum. Our total production area is about 11 hectares, and we work together with 550 colleagues.
Job Summary: To manage, monitor, and optimize greenhouse activities such as plant cultivation, climate control, irrigation, and pest management.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitoring irrigation processes EC/PH measurements, dry spots, flushing dripline, and reporting leakages.
- Having knowledge of pests that attack chrysanthemum.
- Sample collection procedure knowledge.
- Controlling pests and diseases through proper bio-chemical application techniques, inclusive of physical spraying.
- Regular cleaning of insect gutters and weekly replacement of sticky cards.
- Timely controlling of greenhouse climate and hygiene.
- Monitoring spray men checklist on daily basis.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- A diploma in Agricultural or Horticulture Course.
- Experience of 2 years and above in agriculture production field is an added advantage.
- Being attentive, time conscious, cooperative, and able to follow instructions.
- Being able to spray.
- Good written and oral communication skills in English.
