Job Summary: ITHUBA Uganda is seeking a dynamic Marketing Manager who will be responsible for managing all marketing collateral and overseeing the activities of the advertising and public relations agencies to ensure the successful delivery of both day-to-day operational needs and long-term strategic marketing plans. This role includes overseeing the execution and implementation of integrated marketing initiatives, evaluating campaign performance, leading market research efforts, and coordinating activities across multiple channels to ensure consistency and effectiveness. Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Development, execute and evaluate the company’s marketing strategy.
- To grow sales and establish brand awareness with customers through market penetration of exciting and expanded game portfolios and a higher percentage of guaranteed jackpot pay-outs.
- Development of marketing programs to support specific marketing objectives across different channels and segments to support our overall strategic marketing plan.
- Market through various channels and segment databases working with large data sets.
- Develop business cases for marketing programs at the proposal stage and recommend marketing tactics valuate the impact of marketing programs in achieving their stated objectives.
- Analyse customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis, and marketing best practices to build successful strategies.
- To ensure player protection through effective and compliant governance processes.
- Ensure alignment of the marketing plan and campaigns to license requirements.
- Manage content and updates for customer and internal touch points, document business processes, and provide additional sales support.
- Prepare, manage and administer the marketing budget with the General Manager
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or its equivalent.
- Postgraduate qualification in relevant field and Project Management certification will be advantageous.
- 5-8 years of experience as a marketing manager, public relations is required.
- Gaming/betting house experience is desirable.
- Project management experience.
- Experience in building complex marketing programs and reporting on results.
- Familiarity with marketing tools, analytics platforms, customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
