Job Summary: We’re hiring a Veterinary Doctor with strong business acumen to lead the growth of EzyAgric’s Livestock Business Module. You’ll blend technical veterinary expertise with commercial ownership, shaping the product, building partnerships, and driving revenue, adoption, and impact.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Technical & Advisory
- Provide expert livestock health advisory across poultry, cattle, goats, and pigs.
- Develop protocols, dosing guides, vaccination calendars, and biosecurity checklists.
- Create and validate digital advisory (SOPs, alerts, treatment flows) inside the EzyAgric app.
- Train customers on correct product use and antimicrobial stewardship.
- Support demos, farmer clinics, and case documentation.
Business Development & Growth (Livestock Module)
- Own the Livestock Module GTM: segments, value propositions, pricing, and bundles.
- Pipeline & Partnerships: suppliers, labs, hatcheries, breeders, distributors.
- Revenue & Adoption: drive MAU, repeat orders, SKU attach; hit quarterly targets.
- Market Intelligence: map diseases, seasonal demand, price trends; translate insights into features and promotions.
- Commercial Operations: sales motions, team training, promotions.
- Unit Economics: margins, CAC/LTV, churn; optimize pricing and discounts.
- Data & Reporting: CRM pipeline, revenue forecasts, weekly KPIs, monthly reviews.
- Compliance: adhere to national veterinary and pharmaceutical regulations.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s in Veterinary Medicine (or equivalent) and registration to practice in Uganda.
- 2+ years in livestock practice and demonstrable commercial experience in animal health/livestock agribusiness.
- Proven business acumen: pricing, margins, partner negotiations, CRM pipeline management.
- Strong knowledge in animal health programs, vaccination and biosecurity planning, feed/nutrition basics.
- Digital mindset: familiarity with Excel; data‑driven decisions; strong communication.
- Willingness to travel up‑country
