Job Summary: C-Care Uganda is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interventional Cardiologist to join our dynamic and multidisciplinary cardiovascular team at C-Care IHK.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
- Collaborate with cardiologists, anesthesiologists, and other specialists to ensure comprehensive cardiovascular care.
- Contribute to the development of protocols, patient pathways, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Participate in teaching, mentoring, and clinical research activities.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Formal education required for competence in the job
- MBChB or equivalent medical degree with specialization in Cardiology. Registration and valid license with the relevant Medical Council.
- Fellowship training in Interventional Cardiology.
Experience
- At least 3 years of post-fellowship experience in an accredited cardiac centre.
Behavioural Competencies
- Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.
