Job Title: Human Resources Officer

The company has 25 years of experience in the production and commercialization of high-quality agricultural seed such as cereals and pulses, as well as the distributor of East West International hybrid vegetables seeds. NASECO has its head office in Kampala and production plant in Nalweyo Kakumiro district.
Job Summary: To support the Human Resource function while ensuring compliance with best practices and the Human Resources policies and procedures.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Implement HR policy manual and HR processes.
- Support the HRM in recruitment, onboarding and preparing payroll.
- Manage Staff welfare and employee relations.
- Develop performance appraisal data for training plan and reports
- Manage leave administration
- Ensure HR compliance and reporting
- Prepare Human Resource documents and maintain an accessible central filing.
- Support HRM to prepare HR performance reports on a monthly/quarterly and seasonal basis.
- Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Bachelor of Science in Industrial Psychology or any other related discipline.
- Professional Experience: At least one (1) years’ experience in a busy Human Resource department.
- Competencies: Knowledge of the Uganda labor laws, Excellent Administrative and organizational skills; A team builder with excellent interpersonal and communication skills; Analytical and detail oriented; Flexible with ability to adapt quickly
- to changing requirements; Tactful with a high degree of confidentiality; Conversant with use of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
