Job Summary: Exquisite Solution Limited is seeking a qualified HSE Assistant to support our client in the oil and gas sector. The role is responsible for ensuring compliance with local HSE laws, regulations, and standards, and for supporting the implementation of the HSE management system.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Implement and oversee the HSE program across all departments and rig crews.
- Conduct HSE audits and reviews, ensuring corrective and preventive actions are applied.
- Compile and report HSE performance, incidents, and near-misses.
- Issue safety warnings based on reported incidents.
- Manage environmental protection activities within the QHSE system.
- Assist HR with medical reports and injured personnel records.
- Perform on-site inspections, identify hazards, and enforce safety compliance.
- Support accident investigations and implement preventive measures.
- Coordinate and prepare safety training programs.
- Manage and coordinate third-party service providers and related documentation.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational health & safety, Environmental Science, Petroleum Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in HSE supervision within the oil and gas sector.
- Certification in First Aid, Fire Safety, or HSE Management (NEBOSH/IOSH) preferred.
- Knowledge of HSE management systems, safety audits, and incident investigation procedures.
- Familiarity with international HSE standards (e.g., ISO 45001) is desirable.
- Proficiency with HSE reporting tools or safety management software is an advantage.
