Job Summary: We are seeking for a proactive and results-driven Field Collector will be responsible for collecting payments, conducting field visits and managing customer accounts, requiring strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collection Activities: Performs collection activities primarily through field visits to customers’ locations, ensuring timely payment of overdue accounts.
  • Customer Interaction: Engage with customers to explain delinquencies, negotiate payment plans and resolve any issues related to their accounts.
  • Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of interactions, payments received and any agreements made with customers.
  • Reporting: Need to report on collection progress and provide updates to management regarding outstanding accounts and collection strategies.
  • Compliance: Ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations regarding debt collection practices are crucial.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:




  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration or marketing.
  • 1-3 years of experience in collections, sales, or customer service is often preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effectively interacting with customers and negotiating payment terms.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Should possess good problem-solving skills to address customer concerns and find suitable solutions.
  • Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail is necessary for accurately documenting interactions and managing accounts.
  • Must be Ugandan.
