Job Summary: Exquisite Solution Limited is seeking an experienced Driver to support a client in the oil and gas sector. The role is responsible for ensuring that management and other personnel are transported safely, efficiently, and promptly to their required destinations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain the assigned vehicle in a clean, tidy, and presentable condition at all times.
- Ensure the vehicle remains in optimal working condition through regular checks and timely reporting of any mechanical issues.
- Comply fully with all traffic rules and regulations as mandated by state traffic and road authorities.
- Provide safe, comfortable, and professional transportation for passengers.
- Select routes that minimize travel time and cost while ensuring safety and efficiency.
- Verify that all vehicle documents (e.g., registration, insurance, and other required certifications) are valid, up to date, and renewed promptly upon expiry.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) or an equivalent qualification.
- Valid government-approved driving license.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven driving experience.
- Certification in defensive driving.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
