Job Summary: Be the bridge between AGL and our clients! As a CSO- Logistics Operations Implant, you will be embedded at the client’s premises, coordinating day-to-day logistics operations and ensuring seamless communication, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction across air, sea, customs clearance, and import/export transport activities.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily logistics operations: truck dispatch, shipment tracking, offloading, delivery note follow-ups, and documentation handling.
- Act as the main point of contact for logistics communication between AGL and the client.
- Monitor shipment locations and delivery timelines.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of import/export documentation and customs clearance.
- Identify and implement operational efficiencies across AGL and client logistics processes.
- Analyze logistics data and generate performance reports using Power BI and Excel.
- Support volume growth through proactive customer service and operational excellence.
- Follow up on purchase orders, invoices, and collections.
- Escalate issues promptly and follow through to resolution.
- Maintain high standards of service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with internal AGL teams (transport, warehousing, finance, air freight, export, imports, declarations).
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in logistics operations or customer service within freight forwarding or supply chain.
- Strong understanding of air, sea, and transit transport logistics, including customs clearance.
- Preferred Skills
- Proficiency in SPOT (TMS), Excel, Power BI, and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under pressure.
- Customer-centric mindset with focus on continuous improvement.
- Strong management skills.
