Job Summary: CERFODES is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate shall have extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in hardware, configuration and deployment, cybersecurity, and implementation, coupled with a strong background in project management of ICT projects. As an Associate – Technology Consulting, you will play a crucial role in advising clients on technology solutions, ensuring the successful implementation of projects, and contributing to the growth and success of our Technology Consulting practice.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Preparation, supervision, and review of concept notes, pre-qualification documents, expression of interest documents, and proposals.
- Track and follow up to ensure that all submissions are made ahead of time.
- Execution of all client assignments/projects assigned to by the supervisor: The tasks to be undertaken may include but not limited to the following;
- Provide in-depth knowledge and expertise in hardware components, configurations, and deployment strategies.
- Collaborate with clients to assess their hardware requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in hardware technology to provide innovative recommendations.
- Lead cybersecurity assessments and provide recommendations for securing information systems and networks.
- Develop and implement cybersecurity policies and practices to safeguard client assets.
- Stay updated on emerging cyber threats and proactively address potential vulnerabilities.
- Oversee the end-to-end implementation of ICT projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives and industry best practices.
- Develop project plans, allocate resources, and manage project timelines to achieve successful outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address challenges and optimize project delivery.
- Engage with clients to understand their business goals and technological needs.
- Provide strategic guidance on technology solutions and ensure alignment with clients’ overall business objectives.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and delivery of high-quality solutions.
- Create comprehensive documentation for hardware configurations, cybersecurity measures, and project implementations.
- Ensure that technical documentation is clear, concise, and easily understandable for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the business development team to understand client requirements and tailor proposals to address specific needs.
- Undertake any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
- Provide support to other departments/Units either in bid preparation related activities or project implementation related activities whenever required.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- A Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred
- Proven experience in hardware configuration, deployment, cybersecurity, ICT project management, and bid preparation.
- Strong knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in technology consulting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- ICT related Certifications is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft suite.
