The Visual Arts
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
The volunteer roles are part time roles for Volunteer Staff at Vipawa Children’s Art Museum located in Jinja. The Volunteer Staff will be responsible for assisting with interactive learning experiences, engaging children in creative activities through visual, performing and literacy arts, supporting programs and exhibits, ensuring a positive experience for visitors, marketing the museum work, Philanthropy, the Accountant will support the accounts and finances of the museum and Administration.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Willing to fully volunteer knowledge and time to the role.
- Passion for children’s art and creativity (Visual, performing and literacy arts)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Familiar with children’s play activities and methodology
- Interest in child development and education
- Previous experience working with children is a plus
- Marketing driven and creative strategies towards branding
- Background in the visual, performing and literacy arts, business administration, accounting, marketing and communications, Strategic Management, Monitoring and Evaluation, business computing or child psychology is beneficial.
- Have a least one talent to share with the children.
- Volunteers Must Be Living Around Jinja.
