Job Summary:
On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Ticketing Cashier to support operations. The person will be responsible for processing customer bets, issuing tickets, handling cash transactions, and ensuring a positive customer experience. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals with good numerical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for customer service. You will play a key role in maintaining the daily operations of the shop and ensuring that all transactions are accurately processed in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance in placing bets.
- Accurately input customer bets into the system and issue tickets.
- Ensure the cash is balanced at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Handle customer inquiries regarding betting options, payouts, and general shop operations.
- Provide updates on current and upcoming sporting events, odds, and betting rules.
- Ensure compliance with shop regulations and gambling laws.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure workspace at all times.
- Resolve customer complaints and escalate issues to the Shop Manager when necessary.
- Assist in reconciling daily transactions and preparing financial reports.
Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of high school diploma
- Minimum of 1 year working experience or Internship experience will be considered.
- Ability to Communicate with teams in a respectful manner
