Job Summary: Octel Engineering Services a subsidiary of Vintage International Co. Ltd, is a leading provider of specialized engineering solutions for the Plant & Machinery and commercial sectors. We specialize in major structural works including bridges, roads and earthworks-and are a premier supplier for plant and equipment sales and hire. As we continue to expand our market presence, we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales and Marketing Officer to join our growing team.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: The Sales and Marketing Officer will be responsible for:
- Driving sales growth for both our structural engineering services and plant/equipment hire
- Proactively identify and generate new sales leads for the company’s specialized services in structural works(bridges, roads, demolitions, earthworks, heavy duty projects) and plant/equipment hire and sales.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients from the residential, commercial and public sectors.
- Identifying, generating, and following up on new sales leads and opportunities
- Developing and implementing effective marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility:
- Preparing and presenting quotations, proposals, and tenders to clients
- Building and maintaining strong long term relationships with new and existing clients.
- Managing the company’s promotional activities and digital presence.
- Coordinating with the engineering and projects teams to ensure client needs are met
- Conducting market research to identify new business opportunities and trends.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- A degree in marketing, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3* years) in a sales and marketing role, preferably within the construction, engineering, or industrial equipment sector
- A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Strong organizational and client relationship management abilities
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms
