Job Summary: We are hiring a Sales and Distribution Officer for our client in the oil trading and supply chain services sector. The role focuses on driving lubricant sales, managing customer relationships, and developing the territory. It also supports distributor networks to achieve targets in volume, margin, and service delivery.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Drive sales of lubricants within the assigned territory and ensure achievement of sales targets.
- Develop and implement territory sales plans to maintain product availability, visibility, and distribution.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers through regular visits and follow-ups.
- Identify, onboard, and support new and existing distributors while monitoring their performance.
- Manage accounts by handling reconciliations, invoicing, debt collection, and statement delivery.
- Identify new business opportunities, execute promotional campaigns, and monitor competitor activity.
- Provide product knowledge, training, and demonstrations to customers, mechanics, garages, and service centers.
- Prepare and submit regular sales and performance reports, offering market insights and feedback.
- Ensure compliance with HSSEQ standards and uphold company policies and ethical guidelines.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, finance, and supply chain to support business objectives.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant sales experience
- Sales Experience in the Oil industry is an added advantage
- Self-motivated with excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong planning and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and travel extensively.
- Knowledge of sales forecasting, trade marketing, and credit management.
