About Organisation:
Young Engineers Uganda is an International Science Technology Engineering and Maths (STEM) and robotics educational enrichment programme for children aged between 4-17 years. In Uganda, the STEM program is run by the African School of Innovations Science and Technology (ASIST) Ltd at children’s centres, pre-primary, primary and lower secondary schools with a vision of nurturing the next generation of scientists, innovators, problem solvers, entrepreneurs and creative thinkers. As the children gain skills through our key pedagogical stages, they come to learn and enjoy science and technology in preparation for their future careers
Job Summary: We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team and inspire young minds in the field of robotics and technology.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with microcontrollers and robotics.
- Strong passion for teaching and mentoring children.
- Ability to contribute innovative ideas to the team.
Preferred:
- Prior experience in teaching or working with children.
- Professional experience in robotics.
