Our focus is mainly East, Central and Southern Africa markets ensuring reliable sustainable energy solutions that complies with international standards to help in climate change agenda.
Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Finance and operations assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing employees or work with multiple departments to ensure smooth business processes. You’ll be responsible for maintaining regulatory compliance, managing financial resources, and developing strategies to optimize operations as well as offer support to the operations manager
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Generate timely sales report and pass to Operations manager
- Generate timely daily sales and stocks report
- Ensure depot stock losses are within the limits
- Responsible for proper customer product stock levels to ensure that products are available for loading.
- Plan and implement strategies to improve productivity and efficiency of operations
- Manage day-to-day operations such as resource allocation, scheduling and task delegation
- Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends and adjust financial forecasts accordingly
- Develop and execute financial plans in alignment with organizational goals and objectives
- Ensure adherence to industry regulations and company policies and procedures
- Manage relationships with external vendors, clients and partners
- Identify and resolve operational issues and escalate to senior management as needed
- Develop and implement employee training and development programs for continual improvement
- Provide regular reports and analysis on operational performance to senior management
- Maintain a culture of high performance, teamwork and continuous improvement.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor of science in Petroleum studies, or a related field.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
- Willingness to travel as needed
