Job Summary: Supervise generation of foreign exchange trading income through trading in foreign currencies on behalf of the Bank within the risk management framework and strategy of the bank
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set Competitive foreign exchange rates based on market variables and update them immediately in case of any substantial changes
- Circulate foreign exchange rates to all branches in a timely manner and are complied with
- Market making in trading by initiating contact with customers and counter party Banks
- To ensure a substantial turn over to generate dealing revenues so as to achieve the set targets
- Trading within counter party, dealer and exposure limits
- Maintains the requisite Bank balances on the nostro accounts for settlements
- Contact customers with a view to understand their forex needs, propose and implement solutions to these diverse needs.
- Accountable for the growth of Treasury dealing customers and,
- Off balance sheet dealing income
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- A bachelor’s degree in a business-related course
- ACI certification is a MUST, ACI Diploma or equivalent is an added advantage.

- Good foreign currency trading skills
- A clear understanding of financial markets
- Good relationship management
- A good knowledge of Treasury and general Bank products
- A good understanding of all Treasury products and management
- Business Behaviors
- Good negotiation and Communication skills
- Excellent analytical skills
- Relationship management skills
- A high level of integrity
- Proficiency in computer knowledge
- Excellent numeric skills
