About Organisation:
Mutumba Mukobe and Associates is an Accountancy Practice constituting a partnership of two Certified Public Accountants and a number of Associates. They offer a wide range of accountancy services including; Audit and Assurance, Tax Agency and Advisory Services, Insolvency and Business Restructuring.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- In line with our Vision and Mission, we have opportunities for Accountancy Graduate Trainees whose key learning outcomes shall be as below;
- Provide support in the execution of audit engagements under supervision so as to ensure completion of all assigned audit tasks accurately and in a timely manner.
- Document audit evidence and conclusions reached during the audit process.
- Prepare, review and/or file individual and corporate tax returns in compliance with relevant tax laws.
- Researching tax regulations to stay current on changes in tax legislation and understand how they apply to clients.
- Provide support in the execution of insolvency procedures including, company liquidations, administrations and receiverships.
- Ensure that all work is performed with high ethical and professional standards.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must be a holder of a Bachelor’s degree in either Accounting, Finance, Economics, Commerce, or related field.
- The applicant must be a registered student of ICPAU.
- The applicant must have attempted or at least registered to attempt CPA Exams at the time of this advert.
- Must have Graduated not earlier than 2025.
- Willingness to learn and execute tasks.
- Applicants must NOT BE OVER 24 Years of age at the time of this advert.
- The Training Period shall be for a period of Six Months, effective 1st December 2025
