Job Summary: ZTE Uganda Limited is expanding its team! We’re looking for passionate and skilled FTTX Engineers to help us design, implement, and maintain cutting-edge fiber optic networks across Uganda.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design and deploy fiber optic networks for high-speed internet, voice, and data services.
- Oversee fiber configurations including FTTH (Fiber to the Home) and FTTB (Fiber to the Building).
- Conduct network planning, site surveys, and troubleshooting.
- Ensure optimal network performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with field teams, vendors, and service providers to expand fiber infrastructure.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of FTTX network architecture and components.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
