Job Summary: We’re looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Financial Controller to oversee the financial and operational performance of a continuous production operation with weekly delivery targets to our contractor.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing costs, tracking chemical and material usage, planning import schedules, and ensuring the team operates efficiently to meet all production and financial goals. This role combines hands-on financial control with operational leadership and team management.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage budgets, COGS, and financial reporting.
- Coordinate imports and supplier schedules to prevent stock-outs.
- Analyse costs and implement efficiency improvements.
- Supervise operational staff and promote accountability.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting to management.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
- CPA (U), ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification.
- 5+ years’ experience in financial control, cost management, or operations.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and planning skills.
