Job Title: Finance Analyst

Rikolto in East Africa is part of the Rikolto network, an international NGO with more than 40 years of experience in partnering with farmer organisations and food chain actors across Africa, Asia, Europe and Latin America. Rikolto aims to contribute to the development of a dynamic, sustainable and inclusive agricultural sector with family farmers providing quality produce for own consumption and for diverse markets (national, regional and international markets).
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure sound financial planning, analysis, and reporting across the three countries.
- Safeguard the accuracy and consistency of financial information.
- Guarantee compliance with accounting standards and donor requirements.
- Deliver timely and high-quality financial reports for management and partners.
- Supervise and build the capacity of country finance teams to strengthen financial management systems.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Master’s in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is an added advantage).
- CPA, ACCA, CMA, CIMA, or equivalent chartered certification (mandatory).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in financial analysis, planning, and reporting — ideally in an international NGO or regional setup.
- Experience:
- Proven experience with multi-donor, multi-country financial reporting and audit coordination.
- Other Details:
- Dynamic, emotionally stable, diplomatic, rigorous, team-oriented, tactful, and highly responsible with a strong sense of confidentiality.
