Job Title:  Export Marketing Officer – 4 Positions

About Organisation:

Uganda Free Zones and Export Promotions Authority (UFZEPA) is a Statutory Government Agency established by the Free Zones (Amendment) Act 30 of 2024, and is responsible for the establishment, development, management, marketing, maintenance, supervision and control of Free Zones; the development, promotion and coordination of all export-related activities; and to provide for related matters.

Job Summary: To collect export market related cues and support management on exports and branding issues.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and disseminate guidelines on export marketing requirements and standards
• Provide technical support to firms on marketing/branding of exports
• Support online export readiness assessments
• Prepare product profiles for exporters and business community
• Undertake outreach to producer/manufacturer/exporter associations and other groupings

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Honors Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, International Business, Business Administration, Economics, IT/CS/Data Comms/IMS, Agricultural Economics or Agri-Business OR CIM professional qualification/membership
