Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and results-driven Mechanical Engineer with strong experience in HVAC system design and project management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing air conditioning systems (VRF, Chiller, and related HVAC technologies), preparing accurate quotations, managing projects from concept to completion, and identifying new business opportunities in the market.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
HVAC System Design
- Design air conditioning systems—both large and small-scale—as per client specifications.
- Develop detailed system designs using AutoCAD, Solid Edge, and other industry-standard design tools.
- Execute VRF and Chiller system designs with accuracy and efficiency.
Pricing and Quotation Management
- Prepare cost estimates and quotations for air conditioning systems and components.
- Ensure quotations are accurate, competitive, and submitted within specified timelines.
- Negotiate pricing and technical specifications with clients and suppliers.
Business Development & Marketing
- Identify and pursue new project opportunities through proactive market engagement.
- Follow up on potential projects through various stages of the building process to ensure supply and installation of HVAC systems by the company.
- Collaborate with the Corporate Marketing Manager to close deals and expand client relationships.
Project Management
- Ensure timely and accurate order placement for equipment and materials.
- Monitor project execution to guarantee timely delivery, proper installation, and quality assurance.
- Achieve 100% project completion within agreed timelines and budgets.
- Coordinate with installation teams, suppliers, and clients to ensure seamless project handover.
Tender Management
- Prepare and respond to tender documents in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure all technical and commercial submissions meet tender requirements and company standards.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in HVAC design, estimation, and project management.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, VRF Design, Chiller Design, and Solid Edge or similar design software.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, equipment selection, and project lifecycle management.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
