Job Summary: The Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, generating leads, and closing sales for the company’s HR services. The role combines consultative selling, client relationship management, and market development, with a focus on achieving defined revenue targets and long-term partnerships.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement business development plans to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Identify, engage, and convert potential clients for the company’s suite of HR services.
- Follow up on leads provided by the firm or supervisors and close deals efficiently.
- Generate and pursue personal leads through networking, referrals, and business intelligence.
- Conduct market research to understand client needs and emerging HR trends.
- Prepare and deliver business proposals, capability presentations, and sales pitches.
- Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to deal closure and client onboarding.
- Maintain client relationships and ensure high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
- Represent the company at business forums, HR events, and industry exhibitions.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and pipeline updates using CRM tools.
- Provide weekly and monthly sales reports and performance updates.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management or a related field.
- 3-4 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management – preferably within HR services, consulting, or training environments.
- Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Knowledge of CRM tools (such as Zoho CRM, HubSpot, or Salesforce) will be an added advantage.
- Strong communication, presentation, and client relationship skills.
- Excellent negotiation and proposal writing abilities.
- Self-driven, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in a target-driven environment.
