Job Summary: The Banking supervisor will prepare and review loan proposals and submit them to competent authority for recommendation/ approval and disbursements on sanctioned terms and conditions
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review loan proposals and submit them to competent authority for recommendation/approval and disbursements on sanctioned terms and conditions.
- Analyze applicants’ financial status, credit and property evaluations to determine feasibility of granting loans
- Explain to customers the different types of loans and credit options that are available as well as the terms/conditions of those services
- Account opening, setting of limits etc. in finacle system.
- Obtain and compile copies of loan applicants, credit histories, corporate financial statements and other financial information. Liaise with Bank’s lawyers, valuers for fastest delivery of given work
- Review and update loan files and monitoring loans
- Conduct pre-sanction and post-sanction inspections and preparing its
- report.
- Portfolio management, monitoring of loans on regular interval. Monitoring, guiding staff working under you.
- Monitoring & follow up of accounts for recoveries
- Opening LCs, Guarantees and loan accounts as per proposal/ offer letter terms.
- Ensure relevant reports are timely prepared, accurate and submitted to the competent authorities
- Follow up on post disbursement conditions for their closure
- Collect all charges say CRB fees, Guarantee/LC fees etc
- Any other duties and responsibilities assigned by management from time to time
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Bachelors Degree in a Business related field from a recognized Institution
- Basic knowledge on Computer is a must.
Experience
- At least three (3) years working experience in Bank in credit department.
- Ability to work in a busy environment

- Age: Preferably below 40 years However. Management reserves the right for determining the age criteria even below /above 40 years keeping in view the experience / qualifications, etc
