Job Summary: As an intern, you will gain practical exposure to audit and assurance engagements while also supporting selected marketing and client engagement initiatives. This position provides a well-rounded learning experience for candidates aspiring to work in both accounting and business development environments.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and executing audit assignments under supervision.
- Support in preparing financial statements and audit documentation.
- Participate in client meetings and gather relevant financial data.
- Contribute to the firm’s marketing and outreach initiatives, including digital content, client communications, and event coordination.
- Ensure compliance with auditing standards and firm policies.
- Uphold professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical conduct at all times.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor of Commerce (accounting option preferred) from a recognized institution.
- CPA qualification (completed or at an advanced stage).
- Experience or strong interest in marketing, communication, or client relations.
- Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
- High attention to detail and integrity in handling financial information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with digital marketing tools is an added advantage.
